Yes, absolutely. Drinking from a copper bottle is a practice recommended for thousands of years in Ayurvedic medicine. The amount of copper transferred to the water is tiny and beneficial for the body. We recommend drinking 2 to 3 glasses a day from your YesRitual™ bottle, ideally starting with a glass on an empty stomach in the morning.

That's completely normal, and it's a good sign! Copper naturally interacts with the water to give it its purifying properties. This slight mineral taste often fades after a few days of use, once the bottle is well broken in. You can also rinse the bottle with lemon water to soften the taste at first.

Copper has been used there for centuries for the natural preservation of water in Ayurvedic practices. Each bottle is designed with a reinforced stainless steel structure, known for its strength, durability and food-grade stability. This structural base is then combined with a food-grade copper plating applied both inside and out. The inner treatment, in direct contact with the water, meets stricter food-safety requirements. This is why the inner shade may be slightly different from the outside depending on the model and the treatments used. This design results in a more robust, more durable bottle suited to daily use, while preserving the properties traditionally associated with copper thanks to the food-grade copper-treated inner surface. Every YesRitual™ bottle undergoes strict quality controls and compliance testing suited to food contact.

Cleaning is simple and natural. Once a week, fill the bottle with a mix of water and lemon juice (or a spoonful of sea salt), leave it to sit for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Never put the bottle in the dishwasher and avoid chemical products or abrasive sponges. It's normal for copper to oxidise slightly, this doesn't affect its properties.

We recommend using the bottle with still water only. Acidic drinks (lemon juice, fruit juices, sodas, hot drinks) can speed up the oxidation of the copper and alter the taste. For the best Ayurvedic properties, leave filtered or tap water to rest for at least 6 to 8 hours, ideally overnight.

The YesRitual™ bottle is made of non-insulated pure copper, so it isn't designed to maintain temperature like an insulated bottle. The water stays at room temperature. YesRitual's purpose is to give you purified, mineral-enriched water through the copper, not to keep it cold. For best use, prepare your water the night before and drink it within 24 hours.
